Awesome finale to this mini-series. It was really nice hearing the Goranger theme song again, along with seeing that Goranger Hurricane reference. My only complaint was that the battle against Dai Satan was a bit too short, but that's understandable given that all of this was to be sandwiched into one episode.Seeing the new Ryuusouger in action was great too. I didn't expect Rita to wear the armor but to be frank, I'm very glad that she didn't die in the battle.
As Stinger pointed out, she didn't seem to be evil by nature, but rather was misguided by a series of unfortunate events. I'm really hoping we'll be able to see her again somewhere down the line, hopefully as a heroine.All in all, I really, really enjoyed this mini-series. Seeing some old faces again was great, and being able to bring different teams together is what truly makes Super Sentai shine in my opinion. I know this special was mainly done as a transition to mark the end of the Heisei era in Japan, but I really hope they do more of these in general from now on. While the story was nothing to write home about, the overall feeling I got from watching this four part special was pure glee.
There were a lot of callbacks and references that just made me happy to see as a long-time fan. Tons of fanservice too.I like how Stinger got his big scene in with him relating to Rita's backstory, though the use of his insert song from Episode of Stinger was a little heavy-handed. This kinda leaves Takaharu without a big moment but at least everyone else got great representation.
Luka got a sizeable role and had a great out-of-suit fight, as did the rest of the main cast. Bummer that Rita ended up having an inconsequential relation to Dai-Satan and Zyuranger history, but the reference was fun regardless.Loved the final battle against Dai-Satan with all the Rangers turning into their super modes, but the transition between the CG flying scene to the slow-motion practical explosions was a little jarring. The Gorenger-inspired finisher, complete with the song, was just awesome.The Ryusoul Black and Green debut fight against Gaisorg was phenomenal.
Fantastic choreography, high-energy, and the use of the opening theme was hype asf. I also like that it gives the early-bird cameo spotlight to non-red Rangers, and I have a feeling the two will be fan-favourites when Ryusoul finally debuts next week. And looks like we have a direct connection to the first episode as the blank Ryusoul becomes the Red Ranger Ryusoul in the master's hands.Overall, a strong finale that left me smiling. I just loved the mini series.The participation of Marvelous, Yamato, Stinger and Kagura (the last two mainly in the last two episodes). I only found Takaharu's participation weak and he little active. It is also an attempt to show that the series and the cast are united and will always be together (which is still a reference to Gokaiger himself). Yamato and Marvelous stand out deeply, Yamato can be said that it was even better than in ZyOhger, the same goes for Kagura wanting to be 'Saikyio!
This proves that she may not be the strongest in the tournament, but the one that has put more effort into it.Rita kind of shows regret in the end and about Gaisorg I do not doubt that he matters in Ryusoulger. In fact, the participation of the two (three, in fact) and the subsequent comments of the main cast demonstrates that they want to be the 'salvation of the fraternity' and that they are 'much stronger than normal', which I must say,.Other points to highlight: references to Power Rangers - Rita, Planet Nemesis and Dai-Satan, who was the main enemy of the ZyuRanger, completing the cycle.And to highlight the participation of Luka Millfy, who for some reason was more angry with Marvellous (and I believe not only by the shots he gave in her chains with the Gaisorg mask). According to Toei's website, she only had one day of recording and were the first to be recorded, which indicates that Mao Ichimichi (appeared in credits and not MAO) had no time to record and could have played a bigger role in the series (in fact, the idea of giving a scissors blow that Kagura applies in Doggie is very plausible for her.) She is very badass, as much as in the series, until she had 'urusai baka.' I love her as much as the actress, both seem to be incredible even if Mao ichimichi proves to be very shy when she has to speak directly to camera, quite different from the character.

While I liked it, there wasn't too much to it. Most of the good will was getting to spend time with Kagura, Stinger, and Yamato again. Takaharu was kept pretty well in check, so I couldn't be annoyed by him.Overall, not a bad little bit of fan service, but not essential unless you really dig the members of team weirdo (which I do).Also, Captain Marvelous is officially the Tommy of Super Sentai.
If it's still going in 10 years (which would be fine with me) he's still going to be showing up, lol. Ok, overall, I liked the series.
I liked everybody’s aspirations and reasons for participating. I liked the real reasoning for the soul stones. I even liked the special effects during the roll call. Plus, as cheesy as it was, I do kind of like how the wrapped up Yamato’s storyline.What I did not like however was the forced huge monster battle. Why not either make ultimate satan human size or just allow the main cast to use their respective megazords?
Also, anybody else notice the abusive relationship between Luca and Marvelous that never actually existed in Gokaiger?Getting back to what I did like, hyped does not begin to explain how excited I am for Ryusoulger! The action was fast paced, the gimmick is simple, I even liked Gaisorg’s suit and how they set up Master Red finding the red ryusoul!If this level of writing continues through the next year, sign me up!. Why not either make ultimate satan human size or just allow the main cast to use their respective megazords?If Dai Satan was made human size it would be a downgrade. He was so big in Zyuranger/MMPR he was literally a gigantic floating head.

Well, I've seen a couple posts saying he threw the fight, but I don't think he did. Yes, he told Kagura to win, but he also made it pretty clear that if she wasn't strong enough to beat him (meaning her wish wasn't important enough, in a sense) he would win. After all, he would've just handed the evidence and handcuffs over before the fight if he had no intention of winning, but he held onto them until the end. There's no need to diminish what Kagura did, considering she's right behind Right in terms of IMAGINAAAAAAATIOOOOOOOON. ToQger best sentai theme ever. Real talk that scene was so unexpected but was so fantastic.
While Doggie obviously went easy on her, she still beat the crap out of him. Also I feel like Ai's acting has gotten better, or maybe they directed her to act a bit more adult. Her desire to help her family was just gut wrenching.Also can we just talk about how they clearly learned a lot about the camerawork from LvP? All these shots look so awesome with sentai teams I haven't seen in this form before. Seeing the dynamic angles of Marvelous's gokai changes and Yamato's fights are just awesome.
