Open Action Center Not Working
I spent 2 days with Microsoft support - and paid them $149 for it - to try to solve the problem. First try this:If that doesn't work, then try the in-place upgrade as DrFate09 suggested. It's painless and you won't lose your desktop apps or data.I guess one of these works for a lot of people, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I checked in Device Manager and noticed that some of the drivers were failing, and within a day I couldn't even start Device Manager, even after a clean install.
Microsoft ended up replacing the 4-month-old unit with a new one at no charge.
Can't Open Action Center
Dec 03, 2015 Windows 10 Action Center Not Working. So if you miss the pop-up you won't know that there's been any events. If you manage to open the Action Center while the toast is visible you can see the message in the Action Center, but as soon as you close it the notification is gone.
